A Voice Dialogue Retreat for Women
Abby Rosen, PhD and Ann Dobbertin, LCSW-C
In a blend of didactic and experiential exercises, learn
to use Voice Dialogue, the Psychology of Selves, which
is a powerful approach to understanding and navigating
relationships with ourselves and others more successfully.
Voice Dialogue helps us understand our often competing
multiple inner voices so that we may resolve inner conflicts.
The Retreat will focus on self-care, developing a greater
awareness of self, and using Voice Dialogue to help us
make conscious choices rather than being unconsciously
controlled by the different aspects of our personality.
There will be time for nurturing, eating delicious meals
together, walking in the woods, and having a fun and
empowering experience.

Inward Bound: Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Depression
Mary Strueber, LCPC
Depression is a very common problem. It involves both biological changes and psychological changes. Although antidepressants generally work well in reducing depression, they are not a permanent cure. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, a clinically proven method for breaking the cycle of recurrent depressive episodes, combines Eastern and Western approaches to promote psychological well-being. In eight 2-hour sessions, led by Mary Strueber, LCPC, we will meet to learn new skills for dealing with what goes on in our minds, and to share and review our experiences with others. (may be insurance reimbursable.) |
