Mindsight: A users guide to the mind
with Mary Strueber, LCPC and Margery Silverton, LCSW-C
This seminar is based on the book Mindsight: The New Science of Personal Transformation, by Daniel J. Siegel, M.D.
- Is there a memory that torments you?
- Do you sometimes get taken over by emotions and then find it hard to calm down?
- Do you ever wonder why you get stuck in negative patterns of behavior even when you know better?
- Do you want to lead a happier and more creative life?
You're not alone! Most of us have some sort of mental and emotional booby-trap that causes us problems. Mindsight is a revolutionary approach to freedom from these traps that is solidly based on the most current breakthroughs in neuro-science.
Through the use of meditation, the tools of psychotherapy, and the findings of neuro-science we can now precisely and effectively re-wire our brains.
- Yes you can master your emotions
- Yes you can bring new life into your relationships
- Yes you can reach your fullest potential
We are happy to present an introduction to his work at this two hour workshop. For those who are interested in delving further into Mindsight, we will be offering an ongoing group.
